ArtBase 10

Software and Network Requirements

The ArtBase 10 software that runs on your in-house server/client network requires a unique license of FileMaker Pro 12, 13 or 14 to be installed on every computer.

Networks of more than five concurrent users also require Filemaker Server 12, 13 or 14.

FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server is compatible with PCs and Macintosh computers. Networks may consist of PCs and Macs in any combination. Before purchasing FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Server software, please carefully review the official system requirements.

QuickBooks Integration Requirements

QuickBooks Integration requires QuickBooks Pro for Windows (Mac Version not supported by Intuit, Inc.). You may also run QuickBooks in a Windows emulator (e.g., Parallels) on your Mac. Additional fees apply for QuickBooks linking – ask ArtBase for pricing.

ArtBase Go and ArtBase Go Live

ArtBase Go and ArtBase Go Live solutions for iPad or iPhone require FileMaker Go 12 or 13.

ArtBase Go Live requires FileMaker Server software on your server computer and a high speed WIFI connection to be used in conjunction with a suitable remote network set-up including high speed internet in both locations and a static IP address (recommended) or a VPN.

ArtBase Go SalesBook requires FileMaker Server version 13.10, 14 or 15 and FileMaker Go version 14 or 15.

ArtBase is not responsible for your network or WAN setup. We suggest that you have a professional IT person to help you with installation.

ArtBase 8.1

ArtBase 8.1 is compatible with FileMaker Pro 10 and 11.

FileMaker Pro 10 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4.11 through 10.7 and Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and Windows Vista (Service Pack 1).

FileMaker Pro 11 is compatible with Mac OS 10.5.7 through 10.8 and Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and Windows 7.

FileMaker Pro 11 is not certified as compatible with Windows 8 by FileMaker, but we do have some clients who are currently using this set-up without issue.

ArtBase 8

ArtBase 8 is compatible with FileMaker Pro 8.5 through FileMaker Pro 11.

FileMaker Pro 8 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4 and Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and Windows Vista.

FileMaker Pro 9 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4.8 and Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and Windows Vista.

FileMaker Pro 10 is compatible with Mac OS 10.4.11 through 10.7 and Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and Windows Vista (Service Pack 1).

FileMaker Pro 11 is compatible with Mac OS 10.5.7 through 10.8 and Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and Windows 7.

FileMaker Pro 11 is not certified as compatible with Windows 8 by FileMaker, but we do have some clients who are currently using this set-up without issue.

ArtBase 7.2

ArtBase 7.2 is compatible with FileMaker 8 and 8.5 only.

FileMaker Pro 8 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 through 10.4 and Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) or Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

FileMaker Pro 8.5 is compatible with Mac – PowerPC processor requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or 10.4.5, Intel processor requires Mac OS X 10.4.5 and Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) or Windows XP Pro Edition (Service Pack 2).

ArtBase 7 and 7.1

ArtBase 7 and ArtBase 7.1 are compatible with FileMaker 7 and 8 (not 8.5).

FileMaker Pro 7 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.2.8 and Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) or Windows XP (Service Pack 1).
